Priortize Your Life Around Your Goal (Wisdom From Ronnie Coleman)

We all have a goal. If not, go get one and come back to this post.

In order to accomplish your main goal you have to prioritize your life around that goal.

Ronnie Coleman is an 8x Mr. Olympia (highest title in bodybuilding). In the video below he describes a typical day for him while he was in training camp.

He is a great example to look at because he had a full time job as a police officer while he was winning his Bodybuilding titles.

He scheduled things in a manner that worked for him. It was easy once he put that system in place.

1. Know what you are going to do for a day
2. Then you can organize your day

– work full time 8 hours
– workout 1.5 hours
– cardio (twice per day)
– eat (6x per day)

Here is what a typical day was for him as he was preparing for the Olympia competition while working a full time job:

7am – wake up and eat meal 1
8-11am – Sleep
11am – do 1 hour cardio
12pm – eat meal 2 (prepared from day before)
1-2:30pm – workout, eat meal 3
3pm – work, eat meal 4 at work
11pm – get home, do cardio
12:30am – meal 5
1:30am – answer fan emails 2 hours
3:30am – last meal
4am – go to bed
